Beautiful vintage Maggs Head sleeveless dress in a soft buttery yellow/cream shade. This has a very clean late-60s/70s mod feel, with a high mock neckline, textured fabric, sculptural seam detailing, fitted bodice, and softly gathered skirt.
The fitted upper portion follows the body beautifully before dropping into a softly gathered skirt, giving it a very clean, feminine shape without feeling overly formal. Raised piping/seam details frame the front and back and give the dress an almost architectural quality.
A fantastic piece of true vintage that feels surprisingly current — wear it with tall boots, loafers, ballet flats or a cropped jacket.
Condition note: There is a small lightened/discolored area on the back, shown in the photos. I have not attempted to treat or wash it out, so it may improve with cleaning, but I can't guarantee removal. Otherwise, the dress presents beautifully.
